Hygge
Our adoption of hygge (pronounced hooga) principles means that Little Meadows is more than just a nursery—it’s a home away from home.
The Scandinavian lifestyle concept of hygge plays a vital role in our nursery. We focus on creating spaces that feel safe, cosy, and harmonious.
Our rooms are filled with natural light, with cosy nooks and soft, neutral decor that provide a sense of calm and togetherness.

Our Garden
One of the things that truly sets our nursery apart is our fantastic, spacious outdoor area. With plenty of room to run, explore, climb and play, children can enjoy the freedom of the outdoors every day in a safe and stimulating environment. Our extensive grounds provide exciting opportunities for adventure, imaginative play and physical development, giving children the space they need to build confidence, independence and a love of being active. We’re proud to offer an outdoor environment that is just as much a part of the learning experience as the indoor environment itself.
Babies
Our Baby room at Little Meadows Nursery is thoughtfully designed with our youngest children in mind. The spaces are carefully arranged to provide a cosy and homey atmosphere, promoting comfort and security.
Our team of dedicated Early Years Practitioners are skilled educators who prioritise building strong bonds with each child, helping them to settle into the nursery environment and encouraging them to explore the world around them.
Additionally, our innovative online nursery app offers convenience and peace of mind for parents, allowing them to stay connected with their child's day through daily updates, photos, and detailed records of activities such as feedings, nappies, and sleep, all accessible at the touch of a button.
Toddlers
In our Toddler Room, little ones are immersed in a world of excitement and curiosity.
At Little Meadows Nursery, we deeply understand that the foundation of learning is laid through active exploration. This is why our toddlers engage in activities that nurture their social skills, language acquisition, and physical development. Our dedicated team provides unwavering support throughout this crucial phase.
To keep parents in the loop, we utilize Famly, our Nursery app, which offers daily insights, progress checks, and heartwarming wow moments with just a tap of a button.
Pre School
Our Pre-School Room is dedicated to our oldest children, offering a nurturing environment to cultivate their independence.
Each child is encouraged to embrace a lifelong passion for learning, guided by our dedicated staff.
Parents can stay connected and informed through our user-friendly online nursery app, where they can track their child's progress and celebrate developmental milestones alongside our supportive team.
Nutrition

Not only have we worked hard to provide a safe, comforting and supportive environment for every child, but we also strive to be a supportive influence for parents and carers, too.
We accept and support various payment options, including funded childcare and tax-free childcare.
